Cutie pie Kawaii
Cutie pie Kawaii
The whole family painted pumpkins. We hope you enjoy them as much as us.
Dress up the acorns with a little paint. A fun way to spice up the Thanksgiving table, decorate a wreath or use them in a flower arangement. However you decide to use them, they will brighten any room.
This wreath is made with chicken wire and black feathers. It's a quick and easy wreath and a few acorns finish it off.
These are the kinds of fall decorations that you will find lurking around in our home.
I made these mushrooms a few years ago out of clay.
Some sit in my kitchen window.
The forest gnome is made out clay , pinecones, bark and other fun things my kids gathered from outside.
I have a few of these lying around, they all have different looks and themes. Some people think they are cute and others don't really know what to think of them.
I like to make them since the kids and other family members pick up goodies for me here and there and help create fun things.
Let me know what you think :)

Clouds of love
This is an easy mobile to make with my SVG cloud file.
I cut out everything twice. You can use heart stickers or a heart punch. Added fishing line and some round stickers to hold them in place. Glued the second piece on top. And there you go, an easy mobile for a kids room or a cute Valentines gift.
A Valentine's Kiss
The Seal Kisses card is made with my SVG Seal file.
Cute for Valentine's cards or a scrapbook page of your beach trip! You name it .
See my SVG files here
Don't toss those scraps!
My wonderful friend Erin gave me a box of scraps. I had so much fun making these interesting characters. I made this owl for my friend Erin since she loves them. It would be fun to glue onto a party bag, or a card.
My Kids loves these little fun guys. I was thinking I could hang them up as a mobile in a kids room.
Or how about napkin holders/ name cards for the Thanksgiving table.
A framed Dala horse for some cute art. You can decorate them however you want.
My Dala horse die-cut will be in my store soon. For now here are a couple of different things you can do with it. Here's my intro page for my scrapbook of my recent visit to Sweden.

So, right before Summer ended and school was just around the corner, my family and I took a little trip up to Packwood WA, right by the entrance to Mt Rainier.
It was a wonderful time to just relax and have a little fun.
The town was packed with vendors for the annual Labor Day Flea Market.
It was a fun time to rummage around and look for treasures. I love all the things you can find there! My mind starts to race thinking of all the things I can make or upcycle while walking around seeing all these fun items.
It started out cool and misty but by the afternoon the clouds broke free and the heat crept through. Our feet finally conked out after several hours of shopping and we still didn't get to see it all.
I love watching the wild life there. The elk just walk around, and they just don't care if there are a ton of people walking around nearby. My kiddos on the other hand seem to be fascinated with the other creatures that live in the area.
They were especially fascinated with the ant hill.
We returned to a relaxing evening at the cabin, enjoyed a cup of tea and watched the kids in the hot tub.
There is something to be said when you are in the fresh mountain air, that you feel refreshed and calm. At least I do.
If you ever want to go skiing, hiking or swimming in the lakes, then I would recommend this beautiful place.
My husband loves the Newmans own mints and I love the tin boxes. I have a stack of them, and I have different purposes for each one of them. I use them when I travel, and I made a little sewing kit to keep in my purse. If you have Altoid or small vintage tin boxes laying around, then thoes would work too.
This is an easy way to have a few small toys on hand. Try some note paper with crayons for when the kids are having to wait around the doctors office, a car ride, or a restaurant. It helps keep things organized in the car, or in your purse.
If you're like me, then you have a few things in the kitchen that you don't have a place for. Here is an easy solution. Buy some magnets, hot glue them to the back of the tin, and you have an instant storage container for your odds and ends. Great on the fridge, locker, or magnet board. If the tin box isn't cute, or just doesn't match your decor, then you can always spray paint them. Or, do what my eldest likes to do, duct tape them up.
Chia pudding recipe:
1 cup almond milk
1/4 cup chia seed
1/2 vanilla bean scraped, or a teaspoon vanilla essence
1 tablespoon raw agave nectar.
Stir and put in what ever container you like.
refrigerate for at least 30min .
If you like it very thick let it sit for 4 hours or over night.
My kids love to take this treat to school, and not only is it delicious but also a very healthy snack.
A quick and easy decoration for Halloween.
I hope you like it. Let me know what you think.
Friend me on Facebook and post your pictures of your owl creations!
This is one of my husband's original SVG designs. It's a fun cut-out, that can be used for many things: cake decoration, garland or card making.
You can find this in my Store under SVG FILES.
Sometimes there is nothing better than just finding a little craft that doesn't cost you a dime. Collect a few toilet paper rolls (or a paper towel rolls), a marker, and you're all set. My youngest daughter and I had fun hanging out and making these little paper roll people.
I would have pulled a string through these, taped it to the inside, and hung it up in my daughter's bedroom. No such luck, she wouldn't allow it! Instead, we simply displayed them on a one of her shelves. You can dress these up a little by adding some color to the charachters with some markers. You could also glue some yarn on their heads for hair. Sticking on some buttons could also be fun!
